The release of the 250th strip coincides with the release of the Twisted Peel iPhone app (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/twisted-peel/id397176750?mt=8) developed by Mobiware Casa. Mobiware Casa developer, Romain Criton, said that, "...an iPhone app was the ideal way to let readers enjoy Peel’s adventures on the move, so we used our iLbert app (a Dilbert comic reader, no longer on the App Store but still available in the Android Market) as the foundation for the Twisted Peel app."
